Elections
There are a number of committee positions to be filled at the AGM (click the roles below to jump the relevant page in the constitution for a role description).
We would love for as many people as possible to get involved. There are lots of exciting initiatives in the pipeline (see agenda!), and plenty of opportunity for you to make a real difference to the current and future generations of Cuths students and alumni.
The following roles are for election at the 2018 AGM:
There are also roles available to be filled either by co-option or by a volunteer:
- Three co-opted committee members
- Website manager
- Two members of the Social committee
- Pending approval, a fundraising manager
Further information is available in the Association’s constitution, and we can also help answer any questions you have about the roles.
Agenda and other meeting materials
The following materials are attached on this page:
- 2018 AGM agenda (including reports from the Chair, Treasurer and Events Manager, and the annual accounts)
- Draft minutes for the 2017 AGM
- The Association’s constitution, which includes role descriptions for elected roles
There are also two proposals open for consultation ahead of the AGM:
i) How we prioritise spending c. £10k of existing reserves: discussing the initiatives which we plan to fund for the benefit of the JCR, its students and alumni (and agreeing the criteria we use to judge potential initiatives), and
ii) How we can raise funds to continue to support students and alumni in future: discussing a fundraising proposal so that the Association can raise money to continue to raise funds for these initiatives.
